How much does a wedding videographer cost?
In the San Francisco Bay Area and along the California coast, most couples spend between $4,000 and $12,000 on wedding videography, depending on hours of coverage, how many cinematographers are on the day, and which films they want back. Our collections start at $5,750, elopements at $2,500, and wedding live streaming at $2,000.
What is included in your wedding videography packages?
Every collection includes two cinematographers, professional audio on the vows and toasts, cinematic camera support, and a hand-edited film. Every collection covers eight hours of the day; what changes between them is which films you receive: a highlight film, an extended highlight, a ceremony and toasts film, a short feature, or your raw footage.
Why do wedding videographers cost more than you expect?
Filming is about a third of the work. A single wedding film takes days of editing: syncing audio from several recorders, cutting to the words that matter, colour grading every shot, and licensing the music. That is where the cost sits, and it is why a film still looks right ten years later.
How far in advance should we book a wedding videographer?
Most couples book nine to twelve months ahead. We film one wedding per day, so peak Saturdays in Napa, Carmel, and Big Sur go first, often more than a year out. If your date is close, ask anyway. We sometimes have it open.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Within four months of the wedding at the latest, and usually sooner. Each film is edited from scratch rather than run through a template, which is what takes the time.
Can we customise a package?
Yes. Every collection is a starting point. You can add hours, a second day, rehearsal dinner coverage, aerial footage, a same-day edit, or your raw footage on a drive. Tell us what matters to you and we will build the package around it.
