Are you looking for the best Monterey Wedding Videographers? Perhaps you’re also looking for some aerial cinematography? Yep. We’ve got that too!
Here at KindleWood Films, we are one of the premier wedding videographers in Monterey and would love to share a few tips with you about a few of the venues you may be considering. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our couples so we thought we’d write down some of our thoughts about a few of our favorite venues in Monterey.
Some of our favorite high-end wedding venues from Monterey Bay for wedding videography are listed below:
Holman Ranch
Talk about incredible! Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley is one of those venues that you shoot at and you can’t believe it’s actually a private estate. It’s so expansive that it’s easy to get lost in the beauty, which makes it a fun venue to get incredible footage.
Here’s another from Holman Ranch.
Carmel Valley Ranch
Gardener Ranch
Gardener Ranch is an awesome venue as well. The property is very well maintained and it’s easy to get footage there all day, because of how many trees surround the property!
Pebble Beach
When we first shot at Pebble beach, my jaw was left open for most of the shoot. From the ceremony area to the luxurious reception areas, this venue is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Nestled along the coast, next to one of the world’s most famous golf courses, we had only one opportunity but to walk away with gorgeous footage. Once again, we chose to complement our cinematic films by using drone cinematography to give the film that extra sense of grandeur. The video below also features Carmel Valley Ranch which is yet again another pristine venue in the Monterey Bay Area. Click here to visit the Pebble Beach website or here for the Carmel Valley Ranch Website. There are many Monterey wedding videographers, but we are definitely one of the best!
Nicklaus Club – Formerly (Pasadera) Monterey
This high-end golf course venue is awesome. The venue was recently taken over by new owners and with that came a new name. With a beautiful well-lit bridal suite and a spacious ceremony and reception area, this venue is sure to fit most couples’ needs. A bit further inland, this venue is sheltered from the winds a bit although it can still get a bit chilly in the evenings. We find that being cinematic videographers at this venue gives us plenty of opportunities to get incredible footage. For example, we try to go above and beyond by using aerial(drone) videography to show what surrounds the venue and makes it unique. Be sure to let us know if you have any more detailed questions about this venue. Click here for the venue website.
The Perry House
This intimate venue seats 130 and has some incredible views of the Bay. According to the Events By Classic website, they believe that “The Perry House has a charm and gentility that comes from purposefully and expertly mixing the old with the new . . . then add to that gorgeous views and superbly created cuisine presented with 5-star service, and the distinctive mix is complete.” There is plenty of parking nearby and the venue is in a very accessible area. We love this venue because it is incredibly intimate and really does provide some incredible views of the surrounding areas. Check out more on their website here. You might also consider checking out the Here comes the guide here for more specific details on the venue here.
Navy Gateway Monterey
This was by far the biggest occupancy venue that we have filmed at. This wedding was maxed out at 500 guests, and what a party it was! This Monterey wedding video from a few seasons ago shows how a large wedding can be a lot of fun given the right venue. They used a stage to slightly elevate the main wedding party and also had a stage for their band. Although it was indoors, because the ceiling was so high, it did not feel as cramped as one would think. Definitely check out their Yelp here.
Intercontinental: The Clement Monterey
If you are looking for a beach wedding but finding the permitting to be too tricky, you might consider the InterContinental The Clement Monterey. This venue is about as close as you can get to the beach without having a technical “beach” wedding. Saddled right next to Cannery Row this is the perfect “destination” wedding for your guests as there is so much to do right next to the venue. This venue seats up to 220 guests and has not only Panoramic Coastline and Ocean views, but you can also see the Mountains!
Of course, there are many more venues in the Monterey Bay area and this page will be continually updated as time continues! If you are looking for our elopement coverage, check out our Big Sur Elopements.
Any specific questions. We’d be more than happy to document your big day as one of the best Monterey wedding videographers.
